Working Together for Community Change

Southeastern Regional Action Council (SERAC) is one of five Regional Behavioral Health Action Organizations funded through the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services covering 39 towns in Eastern CT. SERAC was originally created by the CT Legislature in 1989 to help communities address the problems of substance abuse and addiction. Our mission is to raise awareness, provide education, prevention and advocacy to youth, families and the entire community in order to reduce the impact of issues related to substance abuse, problem gambling, and mental health.
