Southeastern Regional Action Council (SERAC) is one of twelve Regional Action Councils created by the Connecticut Legislature in 1989.
We are a nonprofit organization. Our volunteer members include community leaders and concerned citizens interested in developing and carrying out strategies to reduce all types of addictions including alcohol, tobacco and gambling, within our region. We receive the majority of our funding from the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
We serve the following 20 communities in Southeastern Connecticut:
- East Lyme
- New London
- North Stonington
- Old Lyme
