Pathological Gambling: Persistent and recurring behavior that includes lying, theft, loss of property, risked relationships, chasing after the win, and inability to stop.

Action Gamblers: Enjoy the thrill of risk-taking, engaging with other people, and want the identity of being a winner.

Escape Gamblers: Avoid gambling with others and use gambling as a way to block out discomforting feelings.
